WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP SUMMIT – THE TERRITORY

While we celebrate the development and success of aspiring and established women leaders of Australia, the issues surrounding gender equity undoubtedly continue to linger. Are you having difficulty forwarding your ideas and opinions across the office floor? Do you wonder if work-life balance is possible? How do you realise conscious leadership in an increasingly complex and interconnected world?

The Territory’s Women in Leadership Summit returns in 2018 and strives to empower women leaders across NT’s public and private sectors. Learn and be inspired by leading corporate and government figures and engage directly with top leadership and performance coaches in focused interactive sessions as you take your career to the next level and realise your potential as a more effective leader.

Fearless Leadership for Conscious Women

Post-Conference Workshop | Friday, 9th November
Surya Silva, Education Consultant, Coach and Facilitator, Silva Solutions

Women today are more educated and more powerful than ever before and they are making bold moves in the workplace. There is a momentum building where women want to play a bigger part in organisations. More than this, they wish to influence their teams and shape future directions. They did not arrive here by chance.

The reality is that you do not just wake up one day as a fearless leader. It takes skills, support, training and great habits to be a conscious leader.

Organisations today must thrive in unpredictable and rapidly changing times. Conscious leaders are required to influence and engage with stakeholders in ways that foster organisational engagement, promote exceptional communication and demonstrate proven outcomes.

Becoming more agile and responsive in one’s approach is essential in this type of environment. Consideration of the human experience, empathy and being more creatively attuned with their team offers leaders the opportunity for innovative, healthier and happier workplaces.

Leading with audacity and courage requires a level of confidence and deep trust in oneself to speak up and speak out. Increasing your influence and making a positive impact requires exceptional knowledge, skills and commitment.

This workshop will provide you with practical applications to upgrade your skills to lead with dignity, both within and without your organisation.

Key Learning Objectives
  • Identify the value in maintaining a growth mindset
  • Apply your understanding of paradigms and leadership
  • Hone your emotional intelligence skills to lead effectively
  • Enjoy the value and benefits of conscious leadership
